Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring supplier-provided materials meet quality standards and engineering requirements. This role focuses on resolving supplier issues, improving overall performance, and partnering with internal teams to strengthen supplier processes and capabilities.

Job Duties:

  • Review and approve PPAP submissions and define requirements as needed
  • Investigate supplier quality issues and lead root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5-Why
  • Partner with engineering, sourcing, and operations to improve supplier performance
  • Conduct supplier audits and support corrective action implementation
  • Track and report supplier quality metrics
  • Support supplier development and cost recovery efforts
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AAR)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality systems
  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
