We are seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Power System Studies to join our consulting team. This senior-level position delivers engineering and advisory services to electric utilities, renewable energy developers, ISOs/RTOs, and public agencies. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, consulting experience, leadership skills, and mentoring capabilities. You will work at the intersection of innovation, engineering, and market development to help position BBA as Eastern United States' go-to technical partner for power & renewable projects.

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to utility and renewable energy clients
  • Lead engineering studies including load flow, contingency analysis, stability, and reliability assessments
  • Support utilities and developers with interconnection studies
  • Build and validate models using PSSE, PowerWorld, PSCAD, ASPEN, and related tools
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional project teams
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Build relationships with utilities, developers and technology projects across Eastern United States
