Job description


  • Handle and develop Engineering and Project Management staff; provide the expertise to support a diverse group of technical professionals

  • Provide technical leadership and direction on complex technology implementations and startups, including equipment life cycle and required enablement

  • Direct the implementation of new equipment and technology, including infrastructure, installation, commissioning and startup readiness

  • Provide program management leadership with leading-edge technology vendors

  • Manage the documentation and procedures to successfully launch new technology and allow for a transition to a sustainable operation

  • Research expenses and assess correlations with earlier cost and future price direction

  • Handle schedules, equipment build and delivery, coordination with vendor teams, continuous improvement and innovation with startups, operational improvements and technology features

  • Lead and mentor engineering and technical professionals in all aspects of their areas of responsibility


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 7 years of engineering and leadership experience

  • Lean methodology and AutoCAD experience
