North Coast Design Build is currently seeking a student in his/her senior year of Civil Engineering or Construction Management or an individual that has obtained a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree for a Construction Coordinator/Project Engineer position for our Sheffield Lake, Ohio office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting project managers or field supervisors with project coordination
  • Reviewing subcontractor change orders
  • Estimating cost for change orders, and Follow-up on all change orders and returns/credits
  • Soliciting bidders
  • Scheduling of various material deliveries
  • Document control
  • Coordination of subcontractors
  • Review of field documentation
  • Participation in team/owner meetings
  • Writing RFIโ€™s
  • Foster positive relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, end users and Project Managers
Qualifications:

  • Graduating with a construction management, civil engineering or other related field of study
  • Minimal travel required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong work ethic โ€“ Highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
