Job description

PAVE Technologies is looking for an Assistant Production Supervisor to join our team.  The Assistant Production Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing, scheduling, and planning production priorities, workflows, and schedules with group leaders. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and supervisory people skills and experience in light manufacturing electrical assembly, plus strong ability to read engineering drawing and having hands on mechanical aptitude and good attention to details. The Assistant Production Supervisor will also be able to interface with customer service to track & expedite orders, coordinate with group leaders to establish realistic estimated ship dates and follow up on progress.  


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee training records with inputs from group leaders & trainers
  • Prep product labeling and pre-packaging before final Quality Dept sign off and delivery to shipping dept.
  • Facilitate cause investigation, disposition, and replenishment of missing or defective materials and assemblies.
  • Incorporate production and process improvements into shop floor documentation.
  • Assist in documenting new, and maintain existing, work instructions and procedures.
  • Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow, and schedule with group leaders.
  • Practice, maintain, and enhance safety practices.
  • Coordinate employee housekeeping activities.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge & experience with manufacturing practices
  • Basic supervisory skills and experience
  • Strong oral & written skills
  • Experience within ISO9001 Quality System environment.
  • Leadership skills that include being a self-starter
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma. Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage.
