Project Coordinator/Project Engineer
Phoenix, AZ

Salary:

  • Level II: $65,000 โ€“ $80,000
  • Level III: $80,000 โ€“ $100,000
  • *Bonus eligibility may apply by level.


ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • PR Construction is seeking Project Coordinators and Project Engineers at multiple experience levels to support commercial construction projects through disciplined project controls, documentation, coordination, and technical support. This role is a critical part of the project team and serves as a development path toward Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager roles
  • Candidates will be evaluated and placed at the appropriate level (Iโ€“V) based on experience, demonstrated capability, and readiness


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL LEVELS):

  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation (RFIs, submittals, logs, meeting minutes)
  • Support project coordination between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Assist with schedule tracking, procurement status, and milestone awareness
  • Support cost tracking, change management, and documentation backup
  • Participate in jobsite meetings, site walks, and coordination meetings as required
  • Maintain alignment between field conditions and project documentation


LEVEL OVERVIEW:
Level II โ€“ Project Coordinator

  • Independently manages core documentation and coordination systems with minimal supervision and growing construction knowledge

Level III โ€“ Project Engineer

  • Functions as a technical owner of project controls and assigned scopes, supporting cost, schedule, and risk management


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commercial construction or project coordination experience appropriate to level
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency with construction management software and standard office tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience with commercial or tenant improvement projects
  • Exposure to cost tracking, change management, and procurement processes
  • Leadership or mentoring experience (senior levels)
