Job description

Position TitlePosition Purpose

A Civil Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations while addressing environmental impacts. Our projects will focus on land development standards that comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management) are associated with new and renovated buildings.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations (detention/retention).
  • Meet with clients and government agencies as needed throughout the design process.
  • Manage design projects from conception to completion based on experience and project types.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: Up to 20%

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Civil 3D
    Qualifications / Prior Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related design field preferred.
    • 7+ years' experience.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) required.
    • Arkansas PE is a plus but not required.
    • Experience with stormwater detention/retention and LID practices is a plus.
    • Proficient at design and permitting stormwater management facilities and erosion control.
    • Experience in large campus industrial work is a plus.
