Job description

Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is recruiting for a PLC Programmer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Location: Temple, TX 76501
Job Status: Full-Time
Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000 per year
Work Hours: 1st Shift M-F
The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and maintain software for industrial control systems to automate manufacturing machinery and processes.
Essential Functions
  1. Design and improve PLC & HMI Software for control systems.
  2. Work with complex PLC programs and electrical control systems.
  3. Communicate with internal team members from the engineering, production and sales departments to identify product specifications and electrical design specifications for client orders.
  4. Read and understand electrical schematics and drawings to determine machinery program to use to create products.
  5. Successfully balance multiple concurrent assignments
  6. Design electrical control panels to meet required Industrial Manufacturing Electrical Safety Standards.
  7. Assist in both internal and customer acceptance testing of subject equipment.
  8. Use excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, installation, and troubleshooting of machinery.
  9. Create technical documentation and reports for codes, electrical schematics and operating procedures.
  10. Other duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical field or must have 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. VFD knowledge and configuration is required.
