Job description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Beaumont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe programming experience, including the ability to manually create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.

This position supports a manufacturing environment specializing in plastic injection molding and PVC components. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC lathe programming, machine setup, process improvements, and producing high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually create, edit, and modify CNC lathe programs using G-code
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype work
  • Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency
  • Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine setups
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment
  • Maintain quality standards and production requirements
  • Support process improvements and manufacturing projects
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of CNC lathe machining and programming experience preferred
  • Strong ability to manually write and edit CNC lathe programs required
  • Proficient with G-code programming
  • Experience with CNC setup, tooling, and offsets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience machining plastics, PVC, or injection molding components is a plus
