POSITION SUMMARY:

The Entry-level Metal Building Detailer supports the creation and maintenance of drawings and project documentation used to manufacture and construct metal buildings. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in drafting, construction, or engineering support who are eager to learn metal building systems and company processes.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in preparing and updated drawings using company standards and templates.
  • Review basic project documents to ensure information is reflected correctly in the drawings.
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ask questions and clarify requirements.
  • Learn and use metal building system software such as MBS and Manifest.
  • Enter and maintain project information the Fusion and the company ERP system.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback and direction from senior team members.
  • Maintain organized project files and follow revision control procedures.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in drafting, construction, or engineering technology.
  • Basic experience with AutoCad software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand basic construction or architectural drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Internship or co-op experience in drafting, construction, or manufacturing.
