  • Perform program prove-out, troubleshoot machining issues, and refine programs to improve quality and cycle time
  • Work with manufacturing to resolve issues related to part quality, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy
  • Apply best practices for machining composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, core materials, tooling board, etc.)
  • Maintain revision control and documentation for CNC programs and setup sheets
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to machining efficiency, tool life, and scrap reduction
  • Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
  • Experience supporting CNC programs on the shop floor and working directly with machinists
  • Comfortable working in a production manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on and manufacturing-focused
  • Comfortable balancing engineering intent with shop-floor realities
  • Clear communicator who works well with machinists, leads, and engineers
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and repeatability
  • Proficient and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Must work well independently and in a team with a great attitude
  • Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning opportunities
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Helpful but not required

  • Experience programming WinCNC-based machines
  • Experience programming Fagor-based CNC machines
  • Aerospace manufacturing or tooling experience
  • Familiarity with machining composite tooling board, aluminum fixtures, and production composite parts
  • Experience with process improvement and standardization
