The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing design calculations in support of bridge design and Bridge construction activities. The candidate will be responsible to coordinate with the project manager and project team with scheduling, and detailing efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
Responsibilities
Design calculations to ensure they are consistent with applicable codes
Design details to ensure they are developed, timely and representative of design calculations and assumptions
Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
Ensure project is being designed and developed within budgetary constraints
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in Cadd and Microsoft Office Suite - preferably MicroStation
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
