Job description

The Technician/Programmer will play a crucial role in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining consumer electronics systems including Lutron, Control4, Josh AI, and Savant. As a member of a small, collaborative team, this position demands frequent travel and involvement in project management and installation activities, particularly in new construction rough-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Program and configure consumer electronics and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Maintain and update system documentation
  • Install equipment and manage system integration on-site
  • Participate in new construction rough-in and project management tasks
  • Collaborate closely with a small team to ensure project success
  • Travel frequently to client sites for installations and support
  • Install and calibrate home theater and whole home/ office audio systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in technical programming
  • Proficiency with Control4, Lutron, and Savant systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills
  • Experience with technical documentation
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Good time management and organizational skills
