MES - Traceability Software Developer - Engineer I
Job Description
MES/Traceability Team is looking for a candidate to fill a software development position within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills. He/she will be able to take verbal and written explanations of onsite manufacturing system requirements and develop a plan to design, develop, deploy and maintain solutions to meet those requirements.
Cooperation with other inter-departmental groups is a necessity, as they will drive the bulk of the requirements.
Skills -
• Strong software development skills in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, both C# and VB languages
• Basic understanding of Microsoft T-SQL database schema design and development concepts and normalization. Additional data structures knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of how to design, deploy, and maintain custom applications in a large scale environment
• Use of Microsoft DevOPS system services to maintain source code changes and software revisions
• Familiarity with scripting tools in a Microsoft Windows environment, including, but not limited to PowerShell, Python, BAT files, etc
• Web development concepts - JavaScript, ASP .NET
• Basic IP networking tools and concepts
• Tiered application deployment experience; full-stack development concepts
• Knowledge and understanding of 'Object Oriented Programming' model / concept
• Desire to thoroughly test & debug code prior to production release
• Ability to translate user / stakeholder requests of desired functionality to a viable solution
• Integrate with 3rd party libraries and API's as well as in-house library development
