Advanced Engineering Technician
Active Secret Clearance Required
On site: Scottsdale AZ
W2 hourly rate: $29.72 to 33.44 DOE* plus shift differential
Openings for both 2nd and 3rd shift
Are you a team player who thrives in collaborative environments? Do you want to work with technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret? If you've got an active Secret clearance and a desire to work on products that help keep our nation and allies safe, this could be your next best step.
As an Engineering Technician in this team you'll be working with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments, to support engineering activities including design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
Your day to day activities may entail performing the following:
  • Interpreting basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
  • Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing and adjusting a variety of tools, equipment and systems
  • Conducting, analyzing and documenting statistically based experiments to define process parameters
  • Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvement
  • Designing and constructing basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks
  • Organizing, analyzing and interpreting data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement
