Job Description A rapidly growing financial technology company is seeking an Engineering Manager, Platform Infrastructure to lead a team responsible for developer productivity, software delivery infrastructure, deployment automation, and internal engineering platforms.
The organization develops cloud-based financial products that support high-volume, business-critical transactions. As the company continues to scale, engineering leadership is investing in platform capabilities that enable software teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality applications more efficiently.
This role combines people leadership and technical strategy. You'll oversee engineers focused on platform engineering, automation, infrastructure, and developer enablement while helping establish the next generation of engineering practices across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing software delivery, streamlining development workflows, and leveraging AI-driven tooling to improve engineering effectiveness.
Location: Newton, MA (Hybrid) Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on background in backend software engineering
  • Experience working within cloud-native environments
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience improving engineering productivity and software delivery processes
