We are seeking a Program Director who will serve as the primary interface with the Government and provide overall leadership, management, and accountability for execution of a Federal IT program. The Program Director will have full authority to manage cost, schedule, performance, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of the program.

This position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of accountability and primary Government liaison, leading all contract-related activities
  • Direct and oversee execution of the program, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, performance, and SLA requirements.
  • Manage all program reporting and deliverables, including PMP, status reports, and governance artifacts
  • Lead integrated program management functions, including risk management, financial oversight, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination
  • Spearhead planning, execution, and modernization of secure IT systems across hybrid/cloud environments
  • Lead Agile delivery while ensuring compliance with federal requirements
  • Establish and maintain governance cadence (PMRs, TSMs, status meetings) and provide executive-level briefings
  • Oversee workforce management, ensuring qualified staffing, performance, and continuity
  • Manage transition activities (transition-in/out) and ensure uninterrupted service delivery

Work Experience and Job Skills:

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of senior-level Federal IT program management experience, supporting programs involved in cloud infrastructure, enterprise hosting, and application platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading Agile teams in regulated federal environments with strong executive communication skills
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor programs and operating within interagency ecosystems
  • Experience managing performance-based contracts (e.g., T&M) with financial, staffing, and delivery accountability

Education:

  • Master's degree or higher in a technical or related field desired

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Active PMP, or equivalent, and Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master); ITILยฎ v3 or v4 certification above Foundation level required

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization
  • Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner

Travel:

  • Willing to travel as needed

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible in working extended hours
