Asst Director / Therapist Cottonwood
This position is located at our Cottonwood Residential Program in Ashford, AL
Monday - Friday 8am-4pm with on call after hours work, including evenings, holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
  • The Assistant Director / Therapist or Counselor in this position will be responsible for providing services to consumers of our Cottonwood Residential program and serve as an Assistant to the Cottonwood Director.
  • Will assist the Program Director as needed with managing the staff and day to day administrative operation of the program.
  • This position will serve as a backup to the Director of Cottonwood in their absence and will rotate on call with Program Director, which will require on call hours, including weekends and/or evening work.
  • Conducting BLS individual and group
  • Update consumer records and information using an electronic clinical record system
  • Provide education on mental illness and treatment to consumers as necessary and appropriate
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Completion of a clinical practicum
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prefer two years post masters experience providing therapy.
  • Licensure in the State of Alabama as an LPC, LICSW or LMFT is preferred but not required.
