Job Title: Program Coordinator (Coaching and Admin Role)
Compensation:
$25/hr, $20/hr while training, with room for advancement
Hours: Flexible, 20-30 hours a week, depending on the season, with room to increase.
Location: Park districts, schools, and daycare centers in the Orland Park, Palos Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, and surrounding areas.

About Soccer Shots:
Soccer Shots is a leading children's soccer program that teaches soccer skills while emphasizing character development, soccer skills, and fun. We seek an energetic and organized Lead Coach and Program Coordinator to join our team. This role combines administrative tasks with coaching duties and requires strong leadership skills in training, hiring, and working with children ages 2-9.
Position Overview:
The Program Coordinator supports program operations and delivers high-quality coaching to children. This part-time role (up to 30 hours per week) will vary depending on the season and program needs. It is a coaching and administrative role and part of our leadership team. Coaching is on-site at schools and park districts, and admin work is done from home.
Qualifications:
  • 15-20 hours of weekday daytime availability. Occasional evenings and Saturday mornings may be required during busy seasons. We are closed on Sundays.
  • Over 18 and out of high school.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a strong company culture.
  • Passion for developing children’s athletic and social skills in a positive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching:
    • Lead and assist with coaching sessions for children ages 2-9, focusing on fun, educational soccer experiences. The curriculum and equipment are provided.
  • Administrative:
    • Use Sports Engine, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Canva to help create seasons and marketing materials when needed. Training is provided.
    • Organize and help run marketing events.
    • Assist in interviewing and hiring coaches.
  • Program Management:
    • Monitor the program’s progress to ensure it meets educational goals and company standards.
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and program quality.
    • Train coaches to be the best in the business and follow the Soccer Shots curriculum.
    • Communicate with parents, school directors, and park district employees to solve problems and ensure program quality.
Compensation:
  • Starting pay: $25/hr, $20/hr while training (Typical training time is 1-3 weeks)
  • Compensation review after 6 months and again at the year mark.
