Adult Crisis Center Emergency Medical Technician(EMT)

As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will focus on providing direct medical and programmatic care to clients who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This position works with clients during the admission process to determine continued eligibility and develop a goal- directed plan of care for any minor medical issues. The EMT will participate in the client's healthcare education and provide direct oversight to personnel who provide medical care to clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The staff at our Adult Crisis Center work as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals.

Starting pay at $22/hour

Schedule:

Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays 8am - 8:30pm

Does the following apply to you?

  • OR EMS/EMT license
  • Experience working with severely, chronically or mentally ill population
  • Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
