Associate Media Director

The Associate Media Director will be a senior leader on our major healthcare client's media team, leading a day-to-day group of media professionals in the conception and delivery of innovative, well-targeted, business-building marketing solutions across a variety of channels to meet or exceed client objectives. This involves creating and executing media plans, uncovering actionable insights to inform strategy, and ensuring flawless execution across all fronts.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a positive working environment and fosters an overall team approach
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client's business, from both current and historical perspectives
  • Works collaboratively across departments (digital investment (social & programmatic media), integrated investment (CTV/OTT, linear, OOH, Print), client leadership, etc.) to develop the strategic design for innovative media plans
  • Fosters strong agency-vendor relations to develop comprehensive media plans that successfully accomplish client goals
  • Consistently bring new media and technology ideas to the team for application and brainstorming, while also helping ensure that the Atlanta office continues to feel connected to the larger media community
  • Maintains overall control of workflow and assigned team responsibilities within the group -- oversees the progress of all projects
  • Provides strategic analysis of plans to determine the impact and overall outcome across all measurable variables, including low-funnel actions/conversions, lift in measurable brand attributes, awareness, and advocacy.
  • Stimulates team productivity and growth by allocation of assignments which combine to make productive and effective use of each person's skills, as well as motivating their interests and challenging their minds

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a media planning capacity
  • Exposure and usage of research and measurement tools such as comScore, cross-tabulation software (MRI, Simmons, etc.), MediaTools, MediaOcean/MBOX/Spectra, competitive software (Kantar or Nielsen), Reach/Frequency estimators, etc.
  • Ability to operate at various "altitudes" to see the "big picture", but also connected to day-to-day work
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Experience with multiple forms of media, including but not limited to: broadcast, print, digital, mobile, SEM, and paid social
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm to learn and grow themselves, as well as team members
  • High level of comfort presenting to senior clients and senior internal team members
