Job description

Senior Lead Tester

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Senior Lead Tester. This is a full-time and hybrid role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports and documents the core Appian platform project, the Drupal content management system, the Apache Kafka event-streaming platform, and other related application technologies.
  • Works closely with the Federal Project Manager and Product Owner to thoroughly test functional and technical requirements.
  • Verifies all deliverables to meet the minimum 508 requirements as required by DOL and OCIO.
  • Working with the Business Analyst (BA), Federal Project Manager, SMEs, system owners, customers and end-users, the senior tester provides assistance and direction for User Access Testing (UAT) including any troubleshooting to address bugs to pass stories through UAT.
  • With cooperation of the project manager, oversees final testing for releases including peak season deployments.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other applicable disciplines
  • 6-10 years of experience supporting major IT systems including security compliance, performance and User Access Testing in low code platforms including Appian.
  • Trusted tester 508 certification.
  • Experience supporting public facing systems

The range of annual salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that pay offered is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.

Annual Salary Range:

$100,000-$125,000
