Job description

Position: Program Support Manager (PSM) Work Location: 600 19th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20067 Report to: Xtreme Solutions' Chief Operation Officer (Atlanta, GA) Job Summary: The Program Support Manager (PSM) is responsible for contract performance within the respective areas of responsibility. This person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of staffing, contract deliverables and ensuring that performance requirements are upheld during contract performance. Roles and Responsibilities: Anticipated tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules and train employees when needed.

Possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsible for all daily reporting and providing timely deliverables and performance related data to allow for adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles with the capability to supervise the staff throughout the life of the contract.

Ability to create accountability and to lead by example. Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and ensure that performance meets all requirements and operational standards. Provide written notice to employees addressing quality of work and other concerns.

Resolve problems with minimal disruption to the activities being performed under the contract. Assist in ensuring that all vacancies are filled in a timely manner. Prepare management, personnel reports and documents for internal and external use.

Present formal and informal briefings to visitors or at off-site conferences. Attend and participate in conference calls and digital video conferences. Maintain effective professional relationships with employees and outside individuals and stakeholders.

Foster collaboration with team members across the project.
