Assistant Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on lower-complexity contracts assigned to Surgical Services

The incumbent assists the Program Specialist in preparing and submitting routine contract documentation, maintains contract files, and tracks key contract dates such as option year deadlines and invoice due dates. COR Level II training is completed only as career-developmental preparation; the incumbent does not independently exercise COR II authority or serve as COR of record on higher-complexity contracts, which remain the responsibility of the Program Specialist.

The incumbent also compiles purchase card transaction documentation and receipts for the Program Specialist's reconciliation and certification and maintains the assigned sections' equipment inventory list.

The incumbent compiles and organizes supporting documentation for Market Pay Review packages and recruitment/retention incentive requests prepared by the Program Specialist, and tracks packages through the approval routing process. The incumbent performs clerk-level data entry and tracking of provider credentialing and privileging records, including expiration dates, with the Program Specialist retaining overall database ownership and reviewing entries for accuracy.

The incumbent supports recruitment actions by coordinating interview scheduling and candidate communication and assists in maintaining position management records such as organizational charts and staffing rosters. The incumbent coordinates and executes the new employee orientation program for assigned sections - a program designed by the Administrative Officer and operationalized by the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst - including scheduling sessions and tracking completion.
