Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this Colorado position is $23.25-$25.24 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Schedule:
  • Hours will be worked Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
  • Schedule is flexible.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and transport clients to medical, dental, vision, psychiatric, and court appointments.
  • Maintain accurate medical charts, rosters, and reports in compliance with state standards.
  • Document all medical appointments, injuries, and follow-up care.
  • Ensure timely scheduling of initial and follow-up medical appointments.
  • Coordinate and support psychiatric care, including obtaining necessary documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure youth have adequate and accurate medication by managing prescriptions, refills, and medication records.
  • Monitor and address medical requests, medication changes, and errors while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Communicate medical updates and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain compliance with medical consent requirements, state regulations, and agency policies.

Requirements
  • Must be a High School graduate
  • Must have good problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Must be flexible to travel between multiple campuses when needed
  • Experience working with youth diagnosed with mental illness
  • Some medical background is a plus
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities. This screening includes state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the applicant has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted. In addition, all direct care applicants are required to complete a health evaluation or physical prior to beginning service to confirm they are fit for duty.
