Job description

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Position Title: Program Support Specialist

Constellation is seeking a Program Support Specialist to join our Homeland Security team in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting day-to-day administrative, scheduling, logistics, and program coordination activities within a federal office environment. This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support within the office, with a focus on filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence. This role also leads the managing program schedules and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Teams, promptly resolving scheduling conflicts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with logistics and coordination of internal training, workshops, tasker responses.
  • Regularly review SharePoint site to identify and implement necessary updates.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, briefs, and reports with discretion and tactful judgment.
  • Coordinate and assist with the movement of government assets, including office equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Communicate with staff and departments to fulfill logistical and administrative needs.
  • Monitor supply levels and assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Provide calendar and meeting support, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and note taking for staff meetings and office projects.
  • Provide support for maintaining the organizational source requests utilizing a centralized tracker to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor and respond to routine inquiries via the shared email box or phone, escalating when necessary to the senior leadership.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business/administrative support role.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and handle equipment responsibly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP or DoD Top-Secret preferred.
