Founded in 2013, Digital Moment (formerly Kids Code Jeunesse) is a Montreal-based charity part of a global network of organizations working to mobilize communities to build a better future through digital literacy education. For over a decade, Digital Moment has been advancing digital literacy by focusing on creating impactful programs and experiences for youth and their communities on digital skills such as coding, algorithm and data literacy, and artificial intelligence. Digital Moment encompasses three educational initiatives: Kids Code Jeunesse, Digital2030, and the Social Innovation Lab.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and people-oriented person to join our team as a Code Club Community Outreach & Operations Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Community and Partnerships Manager, you will be the engine behind our summer initiatives, helping us expand our reach, grow our volunteer base, and keep our data organized.
This role is perfect for someone who loves building relationships, navigating digital tools, and thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Outreach & Engagement: Identify and connect with local community partners, organizations, and potential venues to increase program visibility.
  • Volunteer Engagement: Support the recruitment cycle, including screening applicants and conducting orientation sessions to ensure new volunteers feel supported and ready.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of both in-person community gatherings and online webinars/workshops.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update our CRM/database to ensure accurate tracking of outreach efforts, volunteer hours, and community growth.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, newsletters, and general communication.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • A passion for technology,  community, education and an interest in learning new things.
  • Experience facilitating or leading activities with youth and/or adults
  • A reliable space at home (or other quiet location) with dependable internet connectivity.
  • Must be fluently bilingual in both French and English.
  • Must be willing to complete Safeguarding training and have a clear background check.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with online platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack). Experience with databases or CRM software and Micro:Bits an asset.
  • Enthusiastic Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally in person and online.
  • Organized: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized without constant supervision.
  • Flexible: Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
