Role Title: Release Manager
Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Summary
Mandatory skills: Primary skills: Release Management, SNOW Change management, Infrastructure Knowledge
• • Overall experience of 7-9 years of Change & Release management role , especially in the infrastructure support domain.
• • Planning all major infrastructure upgrades without impacting project testing an environment batch schedules.
• • Work with multiple infrastructure teams like Middleware Operations, San Ops, Oracle DBA, and Firewall Ops etc for release management planning.
• • Communicating with all project managers and business teams with the changes planned in the Infra environment.
• • Chair bi-weekly Infrastructure CAB Meetings
• • Review daily change management report of submitted Change Tickets.
• • Evaluates Infra Change Tickets and approve or reject change tickets.
• • Updates Change Management Schedule with newly requested/approved change tickets.
• • Adds Service Provider of newly requested changes to Infra CAB Meeting for review of changes.
• • Publish updated Change Management Schedule on to SharePoint library.
• Updates Change Management Schedule of change completion status.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 5/29/2026
The annual salary for this position is between $75,000- $90,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
