Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Serve in a hybrid chief of staff and project/program management capacity supporting the National Security Group leader and broader organization.
  • Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into clear plans, actions, timelines, and follow-through, ensuring key initiatives remain organized, visible, and moving forward.
  • Support business planning, operational cadence, executive presentations, leadership updates, organizational communications, culture initiatives, return-to-office efforts, budget coordination, and other strategic or administrative priorities aligned to a tight Rhythm of Business.
  • Drive the Rhythm of Business for NSG aligned to Public Sector and ATT Business and acts as a central point of coordination for cross-functional requests, emerging issues, and workstreams that require strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to identify the right path forward when ownership is unclear.
  • Drive project execution by organizing work, tracking milestones, identifying risks, following up on action items, and helping leaders prioritize critical tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Use business acumen to understand the organization's priorities, connect the work to broader business outcomes, and provide thoughtful recommendations that help improve execution and decision-making.
  • Independently assess issues, gather relevant information, develop options, and move work forward with limited direction while knowing when to escalate for leadership input.
  • Support process improvement, task forces, and business efficiency efforts across the organization, helping simplify work, improve alignment, and strengthen overall operating discipline.
  • This role requires a strong, independent thinker and doer who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and follow-through.

Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 8-10 years of professional work experience.
  • Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Evidence of PM skills in current role
  • Intermediate Excel capabilities.

Our Principal Project/Program Manager's earn between $130,700 -$196,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
