Job Title: Project Director โ€“ Enterprise IT Modernization

Exp 15+ Only

Location: California( 2 days a week to Office)

(Preferred โ€“ Public Sector / State Government Experience)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large-scale public sector modernization initiatives and enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will oversee multi-vendor environments, cloud implementations, and mission-critical system deployments while managing large budgets and executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

15+ years in IT program/project management with 10+ years leading large modernization programs.
7+ years managing programs with budgets over $50M.
Experience managing multi-contractor environments and 4+ concurrent system integrators.
Public sector IT modernization experience required.
Experience with cloud implementations (GCP preferred).
Strong knowledge of PMI, SAFe, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred: California state government experience, CDT oversight, workersโ€™ compensation/case management domain experience.
