Job description

Project Coordinator III
itD is seeking a Project Coordinator III to support program execution and operational coordination for hardware development initiatives within Company's Reality Labs organization. This role plays a critical part in enabling engineering teams to deliver next-generation AR/smart glass products by managing workstreams, tracking logistics, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in project management, international logistics, and engineering program coordination, with a proven track record of driving execution in fast-paced hardware environments.
Location: Hybrid - Redmond, WA
Duration: 12months
Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams by partnering with program managers, engineers, and technical leads to align on deliverables and timelines
  • Track progress of prototype builds, engineering milestones, and hardware deliverables to ensure program execution stays on schedule
  • Manage international shipping, logistics, and receiving operations, including supplier coordination and shipment tracking
  • Maintain and update project plans, schedules, and documentation using project tracking tools to ensure visibility across stakeholders
  • Monitor task progress, collect data, and develop dashboards and presentations for leadership and cross-functional reporting
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to onboard suppliers, manage purchase orders, and track deliveries
  • Support documentation of engineering development, including SOW tracking and maintaining internal systems and meeting records

Internal Responsibilities
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in project or program coordination, preferably in hardware or engineering environments
  • Experience in international shipping, logistics, and supplier coordination (Asia experience highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar systems) for managing engineering workflows
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and stakeholder coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or consumer hardware development programs
  • Familiarity with hardware design and development lifecycle processes
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in large-scale organizations
  • Background in technology, consumer electronics, aerospace, or similar industries

Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
