Utility Project Coordinator
Location: Hybrid/King of Prussia PA
Department: Distribution Engineering
ExecuPOWER is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support Joint Use and Distribution Engineering programs. This role is critical to ensuring accurate processing of joint use applications, financial tracking, and coordination across engineering, permitting, and client systems. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, utility experience, and the ability to align cost performance with engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Joint Use Coordination
  • Process joint use applications in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain joint use billing details within client financial systems.
  • Coordinate permit requests and manage receipt, tracking, and updates of approved permits.
  • Support pole attachment and make-ready workflows in collaboration with engineering teams.

Financial Tracking & Reporting
  • Track project budgets, analyze cost variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting for Joint Use and Distribution Engineering programs.
  • Forecast labor and cost requirements and assess financial risk tied to workloads and schedules.
  • Ensure cost performance aligns with engineering milestones (survey, IFA, IFC, make-ready).

Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with utility rate structures, contracts, and regulatory financial requirements.
  • Support adherence to FERC, state reporting, and joint use regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready financial records.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Solid understanding of Distribution Engineering workflows and unit-rate cost structures.
  • Advanced skills in forecasting, variance analysis, and large-dataset financial modeling.
