Job description

We are looking for a Portfolio Solutions Sr. Project Manager to join our team. This will be a hybrid role based in O'Fallon, Chicago, Alpharetta, or New York.
Your Team
Join the North American Portfolio Solutions team, where we focus on supporting delegated authority facilities, portfolio business, and operational process execution across multiple lines of business. Our team partners closely with underwriting, operations, finance, claims, legal, brokers, MGAs, and external vendors to support onboarding, reporting, operational governance, and portfolio management activities.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Regional Head of Portfolio Solutions and Delegated Authority in North America, this role will play a key role in supporting operational implementation, onboarding coordination, portfolio reporting, and process execution activities across a growing portfolio of facilities and strategic initiatives.
This position will serve as a central coordination point across internal business teams, external partners, brokers, MGAs, TPAs, vendors, and operational stakeholders to help drive operational efficiency, data quality, process consistency, and successful portfolio implementation.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Portfolio Operations and Implementation:
  • Coordinate onboarding and implementation activities for delegated authority facilities and portfolio business across multiple lines of business.
  • Track project timelines, operational dependencies, action items, and remediation activities to support successful execution and delivery.
  • Support operational workflow development and process improvement initiatives across Portfolio Solutions activities.

Bordereaux and Data Management:
  • Coordinate bordereaux intake, validation, tracking, and operational reporting processes.
  • Support premium booking, reconciliation, reporting, and operational data management activities.
  • Analyze large operational datasets to identify trends, data issues, reconciliation items, and reporting needs.
  • Maintain centralized operational tracking and reporting across facilities and portfolio initiatives.

Cross Functional and Vendor Coordination:
  • Partner with underwriting, finance, claims, legal, operations, actuarial, distribution, and offshore operational teams to support portfolio activities.
  • Coordinate with external brokers, MGAs, TPAs, vendors, and business partners to support onboarding, reporting, and operational deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, operational issues, and dependencies.

Governance and Operational Support:
  • Support delegated authority operational governance activities, reporting requirements, and compliance coordination.
  • Assist with process documentation, operational controls, audit support, and issue resolution activities.
  • Support implementation and operational use of portfolio management and bordereaux systems and tools, including Distribute/Distribind platforms.

What You'll Bring to the Role
Advanced Excel and Data Management Skills:
  • Strong experience working with large operational datasets, reconciliations, tracking, reporting, and data analysis.

Project and Operational Coordination:
  • Experience managing operational workflows, implementation activities, timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination efforts.

Insurance and Portfolio Operations Knowledge:
  • Experience supporting delegated authority, MGA/program business, underwriting operations, portfolio management, or insurance operational processes preferred.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively across internal business units, external partners, vendors, and operational teams.

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills:
  • Ability to identify operational issues, analyze data, prioritize competing demands, and drive resolution activities in a fast-paced environment.

Technology and Process Orientation:
  • Comfortable working with operational systems, workflow tools, reporting platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Insurance, or a related field preferred.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $97,739 to $147,652 for O'Fallon, MO, $107,913 - $163,096 for Chicago & Alpharetta and $124,609 - $188,330 for New York. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
