Job Title

Regional Fleet and Logistics Program Manager – F135 International Program

Location & Work Type

Onsite, US-CT-EAST, Hartford, United States. U.S. citizenship required and existing DoD Secret clearance required.

Position Summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented manager to lead a team of Country Logistics Program Managers (LPM), Field Support Engineers (FSE) and technicians in support of F135 international customers. This customer‑facing role is high visibility and cross‑functional, overseeing program execution from flight line to Joint Program Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Integrated Customer Support, Lightning Operations Center, Depot Operations, Engineering and ALIS) to resolve emerging customer issues and manage changing priorities.
  • Meet regularly with the Joint Program Office and in‑country counterparts to manage expectations and priorities.
  • Track key delivery metrics and take actions to meet program objectives.
  • Visit sites within the region to engage onsite employees and customers, providing leadership support and gathering program‑level propulsion feedback.
  • Work with the F135 Contracts Team to ensure customer needs are reflected in contracts and funding, and plan for new customers and site start‑ups.
  • Support the International Site Activation & Transition Manager by hiring and transitioning new FSEs and technicians into the country.
  • Represent the voice of the customer at IPMT, SPMT, CSIPT and other program meetings.
  • Ensure training and administrative requirements for assigned employees are completed within established timelines.
  • Track and trend customer feedback, address grievances immediately, and maintain contract adherence for onsite FSE coverage, program reviews, and customer support.
  • Coordinate the completion of Fleet Management Plans (FMP) for fleet campaigns and guide Contractor Field Team efforts.
What You Will Learn

Develop critical leadership skills to support international F135 customers with world‑class sustainment and logistics support, and learn to build and develop an engaged professional team focused on enabling the customer’s warfighter mission.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree required.
  • 10+ years of technical or program management experience in aviation.
  • At least 3 years of managerial and leadership experience.
  • Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • JCL2 certification, knowledge of TAAs, global trade/ITAR, and F135 familiarity (fleet operations, supply chain management, support equipment management, HPSI, PBL contracting, taxes, tariffs, duties).
  • Prior F135 FSE experience and experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
Salary

$132,400 – $251,600 USD annually, depending on experience.
