Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to and supports Administrative & Legal Services Director and the Scottsdale Managing Partner
  • Oversees support staff located in the Scottsdale office, including productivity management
  • Assists with implementing new policies and procedures in the Scottsdale office
  • Assists with the hiring process for support staff for the Scottsdale office
  • Assists with the onboarding process for all new hires in the Scottsdale office
  • Assists with training support staff as needed for the Scottsdale office
  • Attends meetings regularly with Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Partners
  • Assists with facility management for the Scottsdale office, including office moves as necessary
  • Assists with management of expense reconciliation for the Scottsdale office
  • Plans and coordinates quarterly events for the Scottsdale office alongside the Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Managing Partner
  • Handles HR issues with HR Director and Scottsdale Partners and Team Leaders
  • Administrative assignments from Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous management/leadership/human resources experience
  • Prior law firm experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Reliability and discretion while handling confidential matters
  • High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
  • Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation Package

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - 95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Comprehensive benefits coverage offered, including plans available at zero employee cost (average annual employee contribution for health/vision/dental coverage is $700-1,700)
  • Employee Assistance Program through HealthAdvocate
  • Employees receive a monthly technology reimbursement of $60
  • Employees benefit from a 401(k) program that includes a 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the following 4-5%
