NUTRITION SOFTWARE DATA ENTRY

REPORTS TO: NUTRITION SERVICES DIRECTOR 
Job Summary:
The Summer Meal Site Monitor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned summer meal sites to ensure compliance with program guidelines . This role involves coordinating meal service, monitoring site activities, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with children and families to promote participation. 
The S-EBT (Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer) Data Coordinator is responsible for managing and analyzing data related to the S-EBT program. This role involves collecting, verifying, and reporting data to ensure accurate benefit distribution and compliance with program requirements.











Linq Nutrition Software - Support the implementation of a new school nutrition software system. This role involves transferring and verifying data from the existing system, assisting with system setup, and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to daily operations.


Key Responsibilities:
SFSP


  • Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations at designated meal sites, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to the summer meal program, including proper meal distribution and record-keeping.
  • Record Maintenance: Accurately record meal counts, participant information, and other required data. Submit reports as required by the program.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise at the meal site promptly and professionally.
  • Program Promotion: Help promote the summer meal program within the community through outreach and engagement activities.

S-EBT 

  • Data Management: Collect, input, and maintain accurate data related to S-EBT program participants and transactions.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy and completeness of data received from various sources. Identify and correct any discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit regular reports on program metrics, including participation rates, benefit distribution, and other key indicators.

NUTRITION SOFTWARE

  • Review, clean, and validate migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with staff, administrators, and software vendors during implementation
  • Provide basic training and support to staff on the new system, as needed
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues during transition
  • Document processes and procedures for future reference

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children and/or in a community service setting.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical software).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data management and analysis
