We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager who will be responsible for the management of all programs (inclusive of summer camps, volley ball programs, soccer programs (as examples)) within the sports complex. The right candidate provides energy, leadership and initiative in developing, growing and maintaining programs within the sports complex. This is balanced with strong customer service ability, team leadership and business acumen. Direct reports include Program Coordinators and the programs instructional team.
Rate of Pay: $45,000 - $50,000/ year

Job Summary:
Canlan Sports, a leader in recreational sports complexes, seeks a results-driven Program Manager to oversee diverse programs. We are looking for a dedicated individual to lead program development and customer service initiatives within our sports complex.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma; College Graduation Diploma preferred
  • Strong background in Business, Recreation, or Facility Management
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in the sports industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Publisher
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Sales is advantageous

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the growth and management of programs at the sports complex
  • Provide mentorship to Program Coordinators and instructional teams
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold business standards
  • Collaborate with teams to create innovative programs
  • Efficiently prioritize tasks and work effectively with stakeholders

Skills and Experience:
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Court & Turf Sports (Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, etc.), including the ability to teach and develop lesson plans, is essential, along with prior playing experience.
  • Ability to teach and design lesson plans with prior playing experience
  • Strong organizational skills and creative thinking
  • Previous event management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and prioritize effectively
