Job description

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Program Manager to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.   

The customer may need support as needed at other locations: Warrenton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ, Melbourne, FL, Oklahoma, OK and Leesburg, VA.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • They’re responsibility for all work efforts performed under the contract.
  • They serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) between the Government’s Program Office, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO) for contract matters.
  • They lead the Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with the FAA.
  • They must meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements of “Program Manager” as defined in the FAA eFAST MOA 2021.
  • The Program Manager must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution + 15 years of relevant experience managing large-scale programs, within the government or aviation sector. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent project or program management certification is required.
