Purpose of Position
The Technical Program Manager position provides leadership is responsible for end-to-end on-time delivery of one or more Vontier Invenco Development Programs, Integrated Solutions or Product Portfolio releases, spanning requirements identification, design, engineering development, verification, integration, and release to production deployment for customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and manage multiple global projects/programs and resources, including Customer Lead Opportunities or Contracted integrated Solutions, from initiation and scoping, requirement definition, development, test, certification, delivery, and sustainment
• Work across product groups and geographies to lead Engineering Teams and/or a Release Train, ensuring clear requirements and solutions are defined, developed, and integrated following business operating processes
• Provide hands-on Agile Program management for Programs, Solutions or Portfolio Programs, with high complexity and budget responsibilities
• Program Management Reviews, and related Program status reports and presentations, including customer and leadership communications
• Interact with internal customers including Product Management, Product Owners, Stakeholders, Customer Success, Executive Leadership, and external Customers
• Support Program Increment Planning to ensure teams understand the Product priorities, dependencies and risks identified/negotiated, and PI Plans are realistic
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks across Programs, Solutions, or Portfolio Programs. Ensure mitigation actions are addressed in a timely manner
• Oversee the entire Program life cycle and manage across multiple program releases in various stages (development, field trials, production)
• Manage program delivery roadmap ensuring on time and high-quality delivery of milestones
Qualifications:
Background and Skill
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, Product Management, or equivalent experience managing technical Programs
• Experience in product development or business analysis with extensive cross functional exposure preferred
• Experience with Agile Methodology, and SAFe development framework in a milestone driven environment
• Fluent in English
• Experience working in a global organization, across time zones
• Ability to lead a portfolio of related programs or projects, or large programs with high levels of resource requirements, risk, and complexity
