The Head of Enterprise Program Management for AGFA HealthCare is a critical role for our continued growth. In this role, reporting directly the AGFA HealthCare's CTO, you will directly and indirectly lead the projects & programs that deliver our innovative solutions to customers through cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams, sites, and functions.  This role is ultimately responsible for delivering multi-generational product portfolio plans and critical product capabilities to help customers maximize outcomes through our products.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. It demands the ability to work together with cross functional leadership to convert longterm strategic vision into a multigenerational roadmap and to operationalize that roadmap into high quality, high velocity action. The leader in this position drives multiple crossfunctional highimpact customer releases each year, ensuring execution excellence while empowering clinicians to work in the flow - reducing cognitive load, eliminating workflow friction, and embedding intelligence directly into daily clinical decisionmaking through the market's most advanced Enterprise Imaging solution.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for leading the PMO team responsible for managing AGFA HealthCare's product release programs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire and develop a diverse team across multiple locations and skill sets. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning & development, and excellence in solutions development, capability building and customer experience. Ensure organizational design is in place that maximizes innovation, speed, and efficiency. Establish solid succession planning at key levels within the organization enabling the PMO to be a talent hub for all of AGFA HealthCare.
  • Provide vision and leadership to continually improve our scaled agile way of working in close partnership with the Chief Technology Officer and peer roles within the engineering leadership team.  Maintain a deep understanding of technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes leading to guidance & recommendations on ways we can lead and adapt within AGFA HealthCare.
  • Improving AGFA HealthCare's product release programs to be more cross-functional including owning the change management process to ensure that improvements are embraced by our global team.
  • Improving and empowering core program teamwork, internal and cross-functional communications, and establishing clear interface points and successful collaboration between functions.
  • Leading agile planning and delivery within our adapted SAFe product development framework and governance. This includes clear decision-making processes within programs, ensuring decisions are made within the established guardrails for each team, train, or function as quickly as responsibly possible and communicated as needed.
  • Leading & improving the PMO's operating mechanisms, KPI's and ways of working.
  • Leading & improving the process to create annual update to multi-generational product roadmap and solution development budgets and communicating regularly on status vs. plans and budgets.
  • Leading the documentation and training function.
  • PMO is actively leading, not just reporting, all aspects of solution delivery from road mapping, program & project kick-off, designing & delivering the software we create, 3rd party solutions we integrate with, serviceability, regulatory compliance and certifications, marketing & launch to sales and operational readiness leading to a smooth launch to customers.
  • Key member of the product development leadership team, driving to a common goal of serving our customers, and providing ideas, insights and recommendations on improvements we can make in our ability to serve our customers.

Who You Are:

  • Expertise in delivering multiple product development and delivery programs for technical solutions that are delivered at mass scale.
  • Proven track record of senior leadership in a global corporation with multiple locations units with a strong technology-driven focus
  • Significant budget ownership and responsibility for short- and long-term projects and investments
  • Preferably deep experience in the healthcare industry, or another regulated industry
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technology strategies with organizational goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing geographically distributed teams, fostering collaboration, and driving high-performance cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in technology roadmap development, strategic planning, and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and impactful solutions within time and budget constraints.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards and regulations
  • Solid understanding of LEAN, ideally strong LEAN practitioner
  • PMI and/or Agile certification or equivalent experience required..
  • Preferred candidate in the Waterloo, Kitchener, Toronto area, although flexible to accept candidates in Eastern or Atlantic time zones in Canada or USA who is open to quarterly travel to AGFA office locations and occasional customer travel 1-2 times a year.
