Position Summary:
The Program Manager supports the successful delivery of custom and multifamily energy efficiency programs by managing program operations, pipeline flow, and cross-functional coordination. This role serves as a key partner to program leadership by ensuring projects move efficiently from intake through completion, supporting contractors and internal teams, and maintaining strong visibility into program performance and key metrics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage program intake, pipeline tracking, and workflow coordination across all active projects.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (engineering, QA, incentives, and project management) to ensure timely project progression and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and report on program performance metrics including pipeline status, forecasting, and key performance indicators.
  • Support program leadership with reporting, analysis, and operational insights to inform decision-making.
  • Serve as a primary operational contact for contractors and trade allies, ensuring a consistent and high-quality program experience.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance program efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Assist with program implementation, including development of procedures, tools, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers and technical staff to ensure alignment with program requirements.
  • Coordinate issue escalation and resolution, minimizing impact on program delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Support program planning efforts, including forecasting, workload balancing, and resource coordination.

Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program operations, project management, or energy efficiency program delivery.
  • Strong organizational and process management skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating complex program activities.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency programs, particularly commercial or multifamily sectors, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience tracking program performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
