Job description

Principal (Essential) Duties

  1. Recruit participants for age appropriate Project Impact Programs.
  2. Assist curricula implementation.
  3. Collect all necessary data for Program Evaluator.
  4. Recruit participants for Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs, along with Violence prevention education services.
  5. Maintain the tracking system for program participants for each age group.
  6. Schedule home visitations and submit to coordinator.
  7. Work with other staff to create, implement and manage service projects for specific age groups.
  8. Conduct outreach visitation with community youth & local youth serving agencies.

Secondary Duties

  1. Maintain caseload.
  2. Maintain participant files
  3. Daily In school lunch visitations.
  4. Attend after school events of students (i.e, sporting, educational and awards.)
  5. Participate in various in school and after school program activities.
  6. Knowledge of school systems and standards.
  7. Knowledge of child development.
  8. Knowledge of children?s learning styles and needs.
  9. Problem solving skills.
  10. Awareness of urban issues.
