Job description

Manager Adult Care Operations

As our Manager Adult Care Operations, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of all aspects of the Transportation Department in accordance with guidelines from various government agencies and organizational policies.

Every day you will be responsible for the personnel, management and reporting duties for department programs.

To be successful in this role, may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card applications, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) and will ensure that appropriate organizational procedures are followed.

  • Selects, trains and evaluates subordinates and initiates personnel actions in accordance with Human Resources policy and organizational philosophy
  • Develops, maintains and enforces departmental policies and protocols. Understands, communicates and enforces organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Establishes and maintains department staffing and schedules. Develops and implements staffing levels ensuring appropriate number of qualified/competent staff are available to provide superior service to clients while maintaining cost effective staffing mixes and patterns
  • Manages the development of the departmental operating and capital budget and maintains necessary controls to assure compliance with budgeted expenses, resources and staff productivity. Monitors departments operational effectiveness and recommends/implements improvements efficiently
  • Provides grant reporting to leadership and granting agencies using PC application tools available
  • Oversees record-keeping and reportage of monthly and annual required data, as specified
  • Responsible for department purchases within budget limitations, performs accounts payable coding, as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
