Job Summary:
Google is a global leader in technology, and they are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager II to lead complex engineering projects focused on trust and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing project schedules, identifying risks, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with global regulations while driving impactful changes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of complex, high-impact xSearch projects, often with geographically disparate teams, ensuring timely delivery and measurable improvements to Search's regulatory posture.
• Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with teams like Legal, Trust and Safety, Data Protection and Risk, PSS, Engineering, and Product Management to drive alignment and land impactful changes for the organization's regulatory needs.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Search Trust leadership to define, shape, and evolve the long-term roadmap and strategy for Search Trust and Regulations.
• Reinvent and refine processes to increase efficiencies, scale regulatory intake, and help teams in overall execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• Experience building infrastructure related to privacy or regulatory compliance.
Preferred:
• 10 years of experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Infrastructure experience, working with Software Engineering, TLs, Product Management and Legal teams.
