What You Will Be Doing: As a Public Assistance Field Services Manager 2 (PAFSM 2), you will work under the supervision of the Chief of Field Services. In this role, you will oversee multiple field offices across the state, providing guidance and direction to staff while collaborating with partner agencies. You will supervise multiple Eligibility Office Managers (EOMs), who are responsible for managing various eligibility and workload teams.
Travel within the State of Alaska is required in this position. The main work location will be the nearest Public Assistance office; travel may be required either by air or car. "Typically gained by" means the prevalent, usual method of gaining the competencies expected for entry into the job.
