Associated Bank is seeking a Personal Trust Manager to lead and grow the Personal Trust business in the Fox Valley by driving client relationships, team performance, and strategic initiatives. This role plays a critical part in expanding market share, enhancing client retention, and ensuring compliance excellence. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Wealth Management while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the Personal Trust team, setting goals, coaching performance, and developing talent.
  • Drive business development by cultivating client relationships and expanding new business opportunities.
  • Oversee administration of high-value Personal Trust accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and compliance.
  • Partner across business lines to identify client needs and deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage departmental budget, monitor performance, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Represent the Personal Trust line of business in leadership committees and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal partners and external centers of influence.

Education & Experience
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of Personal Trust, Estate & Probate experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in financial services or investment management
  • 7+ years of personal financial planning experience
  • Ability to travel locally and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation
  • CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) designation
