Job Description

The Senior Analyst is responsible for driving key finance business processes and supporting strategic initiatives across a multinational organization with approximately $6B in annual revenue and two business segments. This role focuses on enabling operational excellence within the finance function by optimizing processes, enhancing systems, and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen financial performance, transparency, and scalability. The analyst partners with segment finance teams and corporate stakeholders to ensure that process improvements and strategic projects are executed effectively and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives within finance, including standardization, automation, and workflow optimization across two business segments.
  • Drive cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with segment finance teams and corporate FP&A to review current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as system upgrades, digital transformation projects, data governance enhancements, and organizational capability building.
  • Coordinate and assist in developing business cases, project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication for finance-related initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documentation of key finance processes, controls, and workflows to support consistency and compliance.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights that guide process and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT, accounting, operations, and other corporate functions to ensure alignment on requirements, dependencies, and project execution.
  • Monitor performance of implemented processes and tools to ensure sustained benefits and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare presentations and updates for senior finance leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, finance transformation, business process improvement, or related roles within a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes across planning, reporting, and operational support.
  • Experience with finance systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Power BI, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information and influence decision-making.
  • High attention to detail and a mindset oriented toward continuous improvement and innovation.
