Job description

Position Overview

CBH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our outpatient behavioral health programs in Fort Lauderdale. This role will work closely with the Clinical Director to ensure high-quality care delivery across our Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services.

The ideal candidate is a licensed behavioral health professional with strong leadership skills, operational oversight experience, and familiarity with regulatory compliance standards including AHCA, DCF, and Joint Commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of PHP, IOP, and OP programming
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director on program development, implementation, and quality improvement
  • Supervise clinical and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including:
    • AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration)
    • DCF (Department of Children and Families)
    • Joint Commission standards
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and program coverage
  • Monitor client census, engagement, and program performance metrics
  • Support audits, inspections, and accreditation readiness efforts
  • Address operational challenges and implement solutions in real time
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and client-centered environment

Qualifications

  • Active Florida licensure required (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in behavioral health, preferably in PHP/IOP settings
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of outpatient behavioral health programming
  • Knowledge of AHCA, DCF, and Joint Commission standards and compliance expectations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
