Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Digital SAP Manager - Master Data to join our team. The Digital SAP Manager - Master Data will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions as part of our Digital Transformation journey. You are responsible for overseeing the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Master Data across SAP systems. This role ensures that Master Data supports business processes effectively, aligns with enterprise data standards, and enables digital transformation initiatives. The manager will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions aligned with enterprise digital strategy. What you will do:
SAP Data Management
  • Manage design, configuration, and maintenance of all Master Data in SAP (S4 HANA)
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI, etc.)
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues using SAP tools and third-party solutions

Master Data Governance & Strategy
  • Align and implement SAP Master Data frameworks, policies, and procedures with PLM governance
  • Define data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules for SAP Master Data objects (e.g., Material, Vendor, Customer, BOM, Routing)
  • Lead data stewardship programs and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead a team of data analysts or specialists, providing guidance and performance management
  • Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into SAP configurations
  • Act as a liaison between Digital and business stakeholders for master data-related initiatives

Project & Change Management
  • Lead SAP data implementation, data migration, and projects with master data expertise
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data processes and automation
  • Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and testing

Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data quality KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and anomalies

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
  • 6-8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Master Data management, preferably in a global enterprise environment
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Skills:
  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Master Data management, preferably in a global enterprise environment
  • SAP Certification
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Master Data Management
  • Experience working in multi plant, multi country SAP landscapes
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 (+ 15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
