Job description

Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company that focuses on creating opportunities for everyone. As a Technical Program Manager in the Public Sector, you will lead complex projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive technical transformations for government and educational institutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of a portfolio of multi-year technical transformation engagements for Google's public sector customers, overseeing execution across multiple program teams and partners.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the Go-to-Market team, leading the full business cycle for professional service engagements in the central region.
• Provide thought leadership, consulting, and technical goals for customer engagements, collaborating with Google's cross-functional executives and key technical leaders to oversee solution planning and deployment.
• Identify customer challenges and position Google Cloud solutions to drive account growth.
• Lead technical decision-making to ensure technical direction and excellence.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• 2 years of experience executing cloud migrations and data migrations, with a focus on deploying AI solutions and driving technical enablement within cloud environments.
Preferred:
• PMP certification.
• Experience delivering digital transformation projects to organizations.
• Experience leading the full business cycle for professional services engagements, including engagements with multiple partners.
• Experience building relationships with government officials and executive stakeholders by developing knowledge of the customer business and driving data-driven insights.
• Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space (e.g., AI platforms).
• Knowledge of cyber-security principles and best practices, with experience identifying digital risks and implementing protective measures to safeguard organizational assets.
